Skin Pigmentation Treatment with Laser

Laser treatment for skin pigmentation is a non-invasive technique that uses high-energy light beams to remove different types of skin pigmentation like brown spots, age spots, and sun spots. The light passes harmlessly through the skin, and when it reaches the pigmented areas, it targets and breaks down the excess melanin, that causes pigmentation.

The heat from the laser causes the skin cells to shed the pigmentation, and over time, the pigmented area of the skin fades away, revealing a more even skin tone. The laser treatment for skin pigmentation is commonly known as laser resurfacing or laser rejuvenation.

The number and length of laser treatments required for skin pigmentation removal depend on the type and severity of the pigmentation. In many cases, people see significant improvement after just one treatment, but generally, more than one treatment is required to achieve the desired results.

While laser treatment for skin pigmentation is considered a generally safe and effective means of removing pigmentation, there are some rare side effects that may occur, such as swelling, redness, and changes in the texture of the skin.
